Fleet GPS
Fleet Services has been using GPS tracking for several years. We have found this program so beneficial that we have decided to offer it to our customer base. The overall ease of use coupled with the impact on our bottom line has proven the system has well paid for itself.
Fleet Services uses a real time system that allows us to monitor our vehicles as they move through their daily routine.
Fleet Services has greatly reduced payroll and overtime. We have added creditability to our dispatching (routing) and eliminated lost or overdue drivers. We have eliminated billing disputes regarding time on the job, arrival times, departure times. Most of all our customers are aware that we have this ability.
Fleet Services knows where our trucks are 24/7. Some of our employee’s take company vehicles home, they never use our vehicles off hours, they never make unscheduled stops on the way home and they always take appropriate time for lunch.
Fleet Services can offer proactive scheduling and customer service rather than reactive. We can locate the closest vehicle to a customer in seconds. Our dispatching is so accurate we can predict the actual arrival time while on the phone with the customer.
